Brenntag acquires French chemical
distributor Metausel
Brenntag, the global market leader in full-line chemical distribution,
announces the acquisition of the chemical distribution assets of Metausel,
headquartered in Strasbourg, France.

for 2008: With an increase of 11% to the previous year the company recorded
external sales of EUR 7.4 billion (USD 10.8 billion). Earnings before
interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (operating EBITDA) increased by
17%.
